GCSAA educational points - To qualify,
a program must meet the following requirements:
1) Provide education relevant to the golf course management profession.
2) Have clearly defined learning objectives.
3) Have a minimum program length of one hour.
4) Must be non-commercial.
5) Cannot be conducted during the GCSAA Education Conference & Golf Industry Show.**
** Approval does not extend to offerings scheduled from
the first day of the GCSAA National Championship and Golf
Classic through the last day of the Golf Industry Show,
held within a 50-mile radius of the host cities of either
event. Events scheduled during this period will only receive
education points with expressed written consent of GCSAA.

Non-commercial
The program must be non-commercial in nature. Sales-oriented
programs and programs that promote specific products (brand)
will not be eligible for education points. Programs on the
use, management or maintenance of a product that is educational
in nature will be considered.

facilities will quit encouraging and/or underwriting education

What is an offering application?
An offering application is needed in order to list your
program's specific event in our online searchable catalog.
Do I have to complete an offering application right now?
No. However, after declining this option above, you
will need to wait for confirmation of program approval before
you will be allowed to enter any offerings online.

Completing this application
The following items must be submitted to complete this
application process. Mail or fax this information to the
address listed below, no later than 30 days prior to the
event. Completed application materials received less than
30 days prior to the event are subject to denial of the
entire application. You must complete the entire application
process to be considered.
Please send the following items:
1. Timed schedule/outline of the educational activity
including the name and affiliation of each speaker and topic.
2. Promotional brochure or program of instruction describing
the event.
Upon evaluation, GCSAA will provide you (the sponsor) with
an Approval Code Notice. You must provide copies of the
Notice to the GCSAA members in attendance. The member must
submit the event approval code as verification of their
attendance and to validate the established program criteria
within 30 days of the event. This may be done using the
online education affidavit or with a paper affidavit available
through fax-on-demand.

GCSAA will conduct random audits of external education
programs. A roster of attendees may be requested in order
to conduct these audits. Please have this information available
