University of Nebraska Distance Education Program
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, together with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), have created a distance education program designed to enable golf course superintendents anywhere in the world to achieve graduate-level training or complete a master’s degree.
For superintendents who have attained a bachelor's degree, there are two options, each with a concentration in turfgrass management:
Master of Agriculture program
M.S. in Agronomy program

National Institute of Golf Management

The NIGM is a dynamic program designed for golf course owners, general managers, golf course superintendents, golf professionals and others in the golf industry to network, idea-share and receive education on various topics that will enable you to become a better manager for the golf business, your staff and yourself.
The curriculum revolves around four major topics: Management and Leadership; Managing, Measuring and Improving Your Business; Understanding, Defining and Creating Your Competitive Advantage; and Driving Rounds and Revenue.
The NIGM is held at Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, West Virginia. Dates for the 2009 Institute are March 22 - 26, 2009. National Seminars Group
GCSAA has a partnership with Rockhurst University Continuing Education Center and National Seminars Group to bring a wealth of seminars to you for discounted rates. Through this agreement you will benefit by:
· Receiving a 25% discount to all GCSAA members for public seminar registrations through RUCEC. This discount will be extended to the member’s entire golf facility.
· Receiving a 10% discount on resources (books, videos, audiocassettes and CD’s) over $100 to all GCSAA members. This discount will be extended to the member’s entire golf facility.
