The South Course at Oakland Hills Country Club in the Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., will be the site of this month’s PGA Championship, and GCM will be there to provide all the behind-the-scenes coverage of maintenance activities at the season’s final major. Senior associate editor Seth Jones will begin reporting live on GCM’s blog (http://gcm.typepad.com) on Monday, Aug. 4.

Green giant
Equipment giant John Deere has long welcomed superintendents to its North American headquarters in Moline, Ill., for an event it calls Feedback, a chance for those superintendents to check out some of the newest equipment in the company’s arsenal. This month, GCM is going along to offer an inside look at the event on the GCM blog, with reports beginning Monday, Aug. 18.
