Expanded Clean Water Rule released by EPA
The EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers have released a final Clean Water Rule (WOTUS rule) that includes expanded jurisdiction for the agency. It will take effect 60 days after publication in the Federal Register, which is anticipated in early June. GCSAA and the larger Waters Advocacy Coalition believe this rule represents a significant expansion of federal jurisdiction. As stated, it will have a negative impact on golf course properties.

For certified superintendents, the increase was even higher. Their average salary rose 5.9 percent in the last two years to $103,993.
