Pesticide
use survey thank you
The Golf Course Superintendents Association
of America and The Environmental Institute
for Golf staff appreciates all of the support
received from superintendents, chapter executives,
and others who have helped with the recent
pesticide use survey. Your extra efforts involved
with promoting or completing this important
survey will help us with many efforts including
the Golf Course Environmental Profile Project,
government relations, public information,
education, and environmental stewardship projects.
With accurate and centralized data and information
GCSAA will be able to respond to inquiries
regarding pesticide use and practices as well
as provide professional communications regarding
golf course maintenance practices. Your work
has helped to make a difference. Copies of
the first report, Property Profile and Environmental
Stewardship of Golf Courses, are available
at http://www.eifg.org/programs/baselinesurvey.asp.
All of the Golf Course Environmental Profile
survey reports will become available through
this website after they are published within
a science journal.
