New Professional Development articles for use in your chapter publication
Golf course management articles
GCSAA has produced six articles focusing on golf course management issues that have been distributed to various media, including state golf association publications and regional golf magazines.
These articles are intended to provide useful and interesting information for golfers that will enhance their experience on the golf course and help educate them on course management activities and the superintendent profession. You might find it appropriate to include them in your facility newsletters or share them with your local media for publication.
- Sometimes it's Good to Vent. This article discusses the delicate practice of verification that superintendents use to produce better playing surfaces.
- Rules of the Road. This article discusses the importance of following the rules of motorized golf cars while on the course.
- GCSAA Quickies - Facts and Quotes. This article provides a number of quick facts about golf courses and quotes about GCSAA and the golf course management profession.
Should you have any questions about the articles or how to work with the media, please contact Jeff Bollig at (800) 472-7878.
