Have you participated in external education, programs and seminars not developed or sponsored by GCSAA? If these programs were pre-approved for education points, you need to submit an education point affidavit (which contains your event approval code) back to GCSAA to receive your education points.
To receive your education points, visit the Documenting my progress section located in the Member Central area of www.gcsaa.org and complete your education point affidavit. Or you can request a traditional print affidavit from the fax-on-demand system by calling (888) 838-4419.
Remember the advantage to using the online education point affidavit is that the points post to your transcript immediately. This is very important if you are close to a renewal date.
If the external education program you attended was not pre-approved through the sponsor but you believe it might earn you education points, submit the Member application for education points and have the program reviewed. You will find this application under External education in the Education section of www.gcsaa.org.
