This program offers agronomic- and management-focused topics in 6-hour, and 1- and 2-day formats. Half day seminars are available if two, presented by the same instructor, are selected for a full day of education.
- GCSAA requires a minimum attendance of 25 prepaid registrants at each seminar. A $700 fee is imposed if this minimum is not met and the chapter elects not to "buy-out" the remaining seats, resulting in cancellation of the seminar.
- GCSAA assumes all the logistical arrangements and supports marketing of the program.
- There is no limit to the number of seminars each chapter can host.
For more information regarding the chapter-hosted regional seminar program, please contact Brian Dick, at 800-472-7878, ext. 4475 or Dee Hoffmeier at ext. 4474.

2009 Chapter Education Selection Opens in July
|
|
The 2009 Chapter Education Selection will begin with an e-mail to all affiliated chapter presidents, education liaisons and executive directors/secretaries on July 16.
Don't forget, in addition to chapter-hosted seminars, chapters may also select ON DEMAND webcasts. For a chapter fee of $300, your chapter can choose from more than 80 ON DEMAND webcast titles. Each member in attendance will receive 0.2 education points. The July 16 e-mail will include a link to the GCSAA Education Library where you'll find both ON DEMAND webcasts and chapter-hosted seminars.
All of the details will be outlined in the selection process, so watch for your e-mail notification in July. If you have any questions regarding seminar selection, please contact Brian Dick at 800-472-7878, ext. 4475, or bdick@gcsaa.org. For information about ON DEMAND webcast selection, please contact Kyle Kreighbaum at ext. 5167 or kkreighbaum@gcsaa.org.
Chapter education opportunities are still available for 2008 as well. So, contact Brian or Kyle today to reserve the program of your chapter's choice.
