Education Points
Participants earn education points for the completion of GCSAA-developed seminars, hosted through the regional seminar and Superintendent Leadership Series programs, and GCSAA self-study courses. Education points can also be earned for participation in programs developed by GCSAA education partners if these programs are pre-approved and meet GCSAA's established criteria, as listed in section below entitled "How to Receive Education Points for Chapter-Developed Programs".
How to Receive Education Points for GCSAA-Developed Seminars
How to Apply
There is no application process to receive education points for GCSAA-developed seminars. However, if your chapter is interested in hosting a regional seminar or seminars offered through the Superintendent Leadership Series (SLS), you must complete the chapter seminar selection request form(s).
Note: If you chapter elects to host a GCSAA-developed seminar or variation thereof, after the imposed deadline, you must follow the guidelines under chapter-developed programs below. This is necessary to ensure that we are aware of the offering and that an event approval code has been assigned for your attendees to receive education points.
Verification of Attendance
Attendees of GCSAA conference seminars, GCSAA chapter-hosted regional seminars or Superintendent Leadership Series programs, will be given a form entitled Seminar Participant Verification of Attendance and Evaluation. This form must be completed and returned to the instructor before leaving a seminar. Education points will be added to the member's record based on receipt of a completed evaluation form. Therefore, it is imperative that this form be completed in its entirety with accurate information.
