Disabling pop-up blockers

Yahoo pop up blockers:

Look for the Pop Up Blocker Icon. Click the icon and uncheck “Enable Pop Up Blocker”.


Google pop up blockers:

Locate the “___ Blocked” button on the toolbar.


Click the button. It should now read “Site Popups Allowed”.


Internet Explorer pop up blockers
:

Go to Tools, Internet options.

Click on the privacy tab, then at the bottom uncheck “block pop-ups.”

Other pop up blockers:

Will vary depending on software. Contact the GCSAA Technology Group Team for additional assistance.


Accepting downloads using Internet Explorer

1. Go to Tools, Internet options.


2. Choose the security tab and click “Custom Level”.

3. Under Security Settings, scroll to Downloads, and make sure that File Download is enabled. Note: You may see an option for “Automatic prompting for File Downloads” in addition to the File Downloads option. Please set this to Enable as well.


Accepting downloads -- XP Service Pack 2 Users

From your browser menu, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level, and scroll down to the downloads section and make sure "Automatic prompting for file download" is "enabled."

OR

From your browser menu, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level, and "Reset custom settings" to "medium-low."
