List subscription service

Maintaining an accurate customer database is a vital component to your company’s success. The cost and dedicated resources to continually track superintendents and their course operations can become a substantial drain on your company’s resources.

GCSAA’s list subscription service provides you online access to a real-time customer database of all GCSAA member and non-member golf facilities. Designed for flexibility, it allows you to design the information you want to collect – you can select mailing list data by state, type of facility, number of holes, GCSAA member or non-member, even facilities within the United States, Canada or international.

For additional flexibility, you can choose your subscription term – a month at a time or for a full year. In this way, you can use the monthly option to assist in a direct mail project or select the annual term for assistance in keeping your customer database current.

Database segmentation

With GCSAA's list subscription service, you can query the database for any combination of the following fields:

  • Both GCSAA member and non member superintendents and assistant superintendents
  • Facility Type (Private, Semi-Private, Public/Daily Fee or Municipal)
  • Facility Category (Just Golf, Military, Resort, Real Estate Development or University)
  • Country (United States, Canada or International)
  • US State or geographic region (i.e. Northeast)
  • Number of holes (9, 18, 27, 36+)

You can also determine the individual information you'd like to receive in your query. The fields available include (but are not limited to):

  • Certification
  • Title – Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
  • Geography (state or region)
  • National Price Index (information about greens fees)
  • Facility Type and/or Category
  • Number of holes at the Facility
  • Maintenance Budget
  • GCSAA Member or Non-Member

After you submit your contract, we will send a confirmation to the individuals you selected to have access to the service. The confirmation will contain a link to the service’s Web interface, as well as instructions for logging into it.

Once there, you will be able to select either an individual or a facility list.  After selecting your set of criteria, you will, within seconds, be presented with an option to download the information you have requested.  This information is provided in a downloadable ASCII comma-delimited format that can be easily imported into an Excel spreadsheet.  Please note as well that lists may only be downloaded once.

    Why GCSAA’s data?

Because GCSAA members can't receive their membership benefits and services without providing accurate mailing information, members play an active role in keeping the database up to date. In addition, GCSAA recently formed an alliance with the National Golf Foundation to track new and existing course data -- a partnership that will ensure that you receive the most accurate information the industry has to offer.
