Membership application and approval process: Evidence of membership with GCSAA. Application requires endorsement by two voting members and one year's dues along with the initiation fee.

Rates for publication: Must be a patron $300.00 per year; $100 for ad

Meetings held: Monthly, January thru November

Activities with chapter meetings: Lunch, golf event, dinner and the meeting afterwards

Employment referral service: A questionnaire is sent to the employer that is returned and forwarded to the employment chairman for approval then sent out in monthly mailing.

Educational seminars hosted: Every monthly meeting has a speaker. Examples include educators in the turfgrass field, those who supply services and products to superintendents and GCSAA representatives.

Scholarships offered:Applicants must be sponsored by a current member of the GPGCSA, must be in at least the second year of college or turf related school, must submit previous year's transcripts and a 300 word essay on why applicant is requesting the award. Applicants must be preparing for a career in golf course management, must be enrolled or have been accepted into an appropriate program and must have previous golf course work experience.

Research projects supported: Currently providing funding for turfgrass research students at Penn State.
