Membership dues deadline: January 31

Membership application and approval process: Comprehensive and complete application describing education, employment and personal history. Applicant is posted for one month after approval by board of directors.

Membership benefits and chapter services: Camaraderie, support, social events include spouse appreciation banquet, professional baseball games and amusement park trip for family and chapter golf teams.

Newsletter: MVGCSA Chapter News, published quarterly

Rates for publication: $63 per space

Election of new officers: November

Meetings held: As needed, once per month.

Activities with chapter meetings: Monthly meetings consist of a speaker, normal monthly business meeting and golf outing, weather permitting.

Employment referral service: Courses requesting referral are screened and then the employment information is sent via mail.

Educational seminars hosted: March is our annual educational seminar program which covers golf and landscape turf. Usually about 200 in attendance. GCSAA educational seminars, as needed. Educational speakers at most monthly meetings.

Trade shows hosted or co-sponsor: In conjunction with the March educational meeting.

Scholarships offered: Comprehensive and complete application form requiring references, education, job duties and personal information. Scholarship is open to those chapter courses and employees or students thereof.
