Education points

GCSAA education points are offered for completing GCSAA seminars and are required for application to Class A membership and the certification program, as well as for renewal of these designations. These points are based on the number of contact hours for the seminar, and to earn them, you must complete the evaluation form at the end of the seminar to verify your attendance.

 Education points for attending the conference

If you register for the full-conference package, you will automatically be awarded 1.5 education points in addition to any seminar points. These education points will be recorded by GCSAA and are typically posted in March after the conference.

Seminar textbooks

Textbooks are not included in the seminar registration fee. For those seminars requiring a designated textbook, you may bring your own copy, borrow or purchase one. Textbooks may also be recommended, though not required, for a seminar. Both required and recommended textbooks are indicated in the course descriptions. Upon confirmation of your seminar registration, you will receive information on how to purchase textbooks by mail. You can also purchase them at the GCSAA Bookstore in the New Orleans Morial Convention Center beginning Monday, Feb. 2, at 6:30 am.

Seminar registration

• There is a separate fee for seminars in addition to the full-conference registration fee.
  (Student members receive a 50% discount on conference seminars when they register after Oct. 29. You must provide your student member number to receive the student rate.)
• Enrollment is limited, so select your seminars and register early. Registration begins October 1 for members.
