Using the Professional Development Resource (PDR)

The PDR will play a key role in your pursuit of certification. Working through the self-assessment of this online tool will identify for you the competencies needed to perform successfully as a golf course superintendent, the recommended standards set for Class A and Certification and the resources available to help you learn and/or strengthen your knowledge, skills, and abilities in all areas. The PDR also provides you a tool to develop a continuing education plan, selecting seminars that will help you address your deficiencies.

As indicated in the eligibility requirements, completing the self-assessment and creating a developmental action plan is a requirement for certification applicant status. Use this tool early in your career to begin preparing your pathway to certification.
