Responsible Pesticide Use in Golf Course Management

Upon completion of this online course, you will understand the arsenal of chemicals available to help manage turfgrass on the golf course. You will learn the hazards of common pesticides used on golf courses and the appropriate measures to take to prevent problems, as well as what to do in the event of an accident.

This course contains three units, each requiring approximately three hours to complete. Each unit contains learning objectives, reading materials and an interactive 20-question examination. You work independently, and move to the next unit after completing the unit exam.

Target Audience

Who should take this course: golf course superintendents, technicians, agronomy and horticulture students, grounds managers, turf industry professionals or anyone who desires a better understanding of or whose job responsibilities include use of pesticides in golf course management.
