Creating a blog can be intimidating at first. In this webcast, you'll learn how to create your own blog and enhance your communication skills. Operating under the theory that, “you can never communicate too much,” we'll discuss how you can provide details about your facility to your golfers, community and other interested audiences. Appropriate writing styles, frequency of postings and more will be included.

About the instructor

Justin Ruiz, CGCS, is the golf course superintendent at Indian Summer Golf & CC. He has been a GCSAA member since 1999 and has also served on the Environmental Institute for Golf's committee for water conservation. Ruiz received a bachelor of science degree in horticulture, specializing in turf, from Oregon State University. Ruiz is the recipient of the 2010 Leo Feser Award, which is presented annually for the best superintendent-written article published in GCM, the association's monthly magazine.
