Cunningham joins Jacobsen as VP of marketing

Joe Cunningham is the new vice president of marketing for Jacobsen.
He will be responsible for leading Jacobsen's strategic business development, product management, customer service, marketing communications, and training and technical support activities.

Cunningham previously served as sales and marketing manager at R.E. Chapin Manufacturing and vice president of marketing for Tomkins PLC, Murray Inc., Agway Energy Products and most recently Alliance Relocation Services.


Glen Barton joins Absorbent Technologies board

Glen Barton, the former CEO and Chairman of Caterpillar Inc., has become a member of the board of directors of Absorbent Technologies Inc., a leader in super-absorbent technologies for agriculture and maker of  Zeba soil amendment.

Barton’s career at Caterpillar spanned more than 40 years. He joined the company as a college graduate trainee in 1961, rising through the ranks to oversee marketing and sales operations in North America, South America, Latin America and Japan.


AgraQuest Inc. appoints former head of EPA to board

AgraQuest Inc., developer of naturally inspired crop and plant protection products, has named former EPA Administrator Bill Reilly to its board of directors.
The architect of the Clean Air Act amendments in 1990, Reilly served as the head of the EPA from 1989-1993. He was president of the World Wildlife Fund (1985-1989), president of The Conservation Foundation (1973-1989) and is past chairman of the American Farmland Trust.


Becker joins Lange-Stegmann as fertilizer representative

Bart Becker has joined Lange-Stegmann in St. Louis, as sales and distribution representative. His responsibilities will be to market agriculture fertilizers in Missouri and Illinois.
