Profile Products adds business manager

Profile Products has hired of Gary Peterson as a Profile Golf business manager, responsible for overseeing opportunities in the western region and internationally.

Previously Peterson worked as a golf course construction and offsite development manager for Sunrise Colony Co. In this role, he helped oversee construction and development for courses such as Red Rock Country Club in Nevada and Toscana Country Club in California. He began his career as a golf course superintendent in Minnesota and later moved to California

Lusher joins BASF Turf & Ornamentals

BASF Turf & Ornamentals has appointed Randy Lusher as sales specialist for Illinois and Wisconsin. He will help distributors; golf course superintendents, nursery and greenhouse growers, and lawn care operators select science-based solutions to grow healthy plants and turf.

Previously, Lusher was a sales specialist with BASF Professional Vegetation Management for 24 years. His work with the Missouri Department of Transportation to develop a plant growth regulator program was awarded the National Roadside Vegetation Management Association’s 2005 National Roadside Excellence Award.
