Official Notice of Annual Meeting: The 2007 GCSAA Annual Meeting and Election is scheduled 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the Anaheim (Calif.) Convention Center. During the meeting, members will elect GCSAA officers and directors and cast votes on proposed revisions to the GCSAA Bylaws. Visit the Elections Page to review the Official Notice of Annual Meeting, the Nominating Committees slate of candidates, the Standards and Bylaws Committee recommended Bylaws amendments and other information relevant to the upcoming meeting and election.

NIGM conference scheduled this month. There is still time to register to attend the National Institute of Golf Management, a unique learning opportunity that provides networking with golf course superintendents, owners, operators, managers, PGA Professionals and other key personnel.  Take advantage of this educational opportunity by registering today to attend Jan. 14 – 18, 2007, at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, W. Va.

Call for Presentations and Request for Proposals to launch next month. Although the new year is just days away, we're already thinking about the Orlando GCSAA Education Conference in 2008. Don’t miss the opportunity to share your experience and expertise with your peers at the 2008 GCSAA Education Conference and Golf Industry Show in Orlando. The Call will be available online at www.gcsaa.org and www.golfindustryshow.com beginning Jan. 8.  All submissions are due March 1, 2007.  

Extended PCNB public comment deadline nearing. The deadline for public comments on the U.S. EPA's proposed ban on PCNB is Jan. 8, 2007. GCSAA's PCNB action alert is available online to help members craft and submit comments to the docket.
