Conference housing opens Aug. 1. New this year, you can select your hotel for the 2007 GCSAA Education Conference and Golf Industry Show in Anaheim before registration opens in October. Check the GCSAA conference section of the Golf Industry Show Web site on Aug. 1 for a complete list of hotels, along with their rates, amenities and locations.

Résumé service change. As of Aug. 1, GCSAA's regular résumé re-writing service will be upgraded to a Professional Résumé Writing and Cover Letter Critiquing Package and will increase to $145. The service, available to all GCSAA members, includes a professional, completed résumé and cover letter, five bond copies, a master copy for reproduction and access to GCSAA’s one-on-one career coaching services.

Mosquito season help. If mosquitoes are a problem at your course, it may be time to call in the bats. Find information about the benefits to attracting and housing bats in GCSAA's wildlife and naturalization information packet.
