To help kick off the 2007 Golf Industry Show "Team Day," which will include a number of opportunities to develop teamwork and leadership skills geared toward the entire golf course management staff, Pat Croce, entrepreneur and nationally-renowned motivational speaker, will take the stage at the GIS General Session, 8:30 a.m. (PST) Friday, Feb. 23.
GCSAA launches Campus Representative Program to grow student membership. Students from eight GCSAA affiliate student chapter colleges were selected to pilot the association's new student recruitment program. Each student has been equipped with a kit of resources highlighting the value of membership, including flyers, posters, membership brochures, a presentation disc, a banner and magnifiers.

The National Institute of Golf Management provides a unique learning opportunity for superintendents, owners, operators, managers and PGA Professionals. 2007 NIGM attendees will be able to network with more than 200 peers, as well as learn new ideas directly from a variety of golf industry experts during a weeklong educational program at Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, W.V., Jan. 14 – 18.
