GCSAA to survey Class
A and Superintendent Members
Following is a list of the five surveys
that will be distributed to participating Class A and
Superintendent Members October 2006 to March 2007.
1.) Part Two
of the Golf Course Environmental Profile project
(focusing on water use) will be distributed beginning
Oct. 9; this survey may require you to gather some materials
from your files and will take 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
The information will be used to document and publicize
the positive environmental practices implemented by
superintendents and measure environmental improvements
over time.
2) Beginning Nov.15,
you will be sent an electronic Member Needs
survey to evaluate and gauge interest in the
programs and services GCSAA currently provides or may
provide. This will take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
The information GCSAA receives from this Needs Assessment
will help the association shape future member programs.
3) The bi-annual Compensation
and Benefits Survey will be distributed beginning
Jan. 10. Although this survey also will require you
to gather some information from your files, it should
not take longer than 30 minutes to complete. All members
who complete this survey will receive a free comprehensive
report returned to them.
4) Those who have participated
in the GCSAA Education Conference and Golf Industry
Show know that the information gathered from a survey
about the current event helps improve the event the
following year. The GCSAA Education Conference
and GIS survey will be distributed March 1,
2007, and will take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
5) Finally, Part
3 of the Golf Course Environmental Profile project
will focus on inputs used to maintain the golf course.
This survey will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes
to complete and will be distributed around March 19.
The information will be used to document and publicize
the positive environmental practices implemented by
superintendents and measure environmental improvements
over time.
