From chapter educational grants to strategic planning assistance and more, GCSAA has chapter resources available to enhance your chapter’s engagement and growth.

Annual events include the Chapter Delegates Meeting each fall and the Chapter Leaders/Executives Symposium each spring. The Chapter Delegates Meeting gives chapters the opportunity to share the opinions of their chapter regarding initiatives and issues affecting the profession, the association and its members, while the Chapter Leaders/Executives Symposium provides leadership training, development and support to chapters. Both chapter events are held at GCSAA headquarters in Lawrence, Kan., and are aimed at improving engagement, chapter success and sustainability of the profession.

GCSAA also provides the framework to ensure chapters stay current with the association and ensures chapter leaders are equipped to guide, govern and grow their chapters.

The advocacy toolkit, a guide to strengthening advocacy at the chapter level, is also available for chapters and their members. These best practices and tips can be used to build advocacy skills, learn more about Congress and prompt members to get involved. This is a great place to start if your chapter is new to advocacy and wants to learn more.

If you want to connect with other chapters, the chapter directory is just a click away. All GCSAA-affiliated chapters and their contacts are available on gcsaa.org.

Chapter outreach resources are also available to help chapters prepare for annual events such as the Rounds 4 Research auction and Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day. News release templates are also available to help share exciting news with GCSAA and local media. All of this and more can be found at www.gcsaa.org/chapters/resources.
