Awards total $20,235 for local outreach, including media promotions and economic impact study
Lawrence, Kan. (June 5, 2018) –The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) has awarded eight Chapter Outreach Grants totaling more than $20,000 to help affiliated chapters engage in outreach activities to key constituents on the local level, primarily golfers and employers.
“The Chapter Outreach Grant Program helps our affiliated chapters take GCSAA’s national communications efforts and tailor them to for their local audiences,” said Rhett Evans, chief executive officer for GCSAA. “In the last decade, we have had more than half of our chapters take advantage of this opportunity to spread the message of the important work of superintendents and the many benefits golf brings to communities.”
