Group insurance programs

One of the most valuable benefits of GCSAA membership is the opportunity to apply for group term life, Will and Trust Preparation and Travel Assistance Services. GCSAA's administrator, SRA Benefits, brings members and their families quality insurance programs. SRA Benefits brings to GCSAA its years of association insurance experience, and a commitment to providing plans to suit member needs, while still offering competitive group rates.

Dues Paid Term life

Did you know that GCSAA provides free life insurance and AD&D (accidental death & dismemberment) as a part of your membership?  All members (excluding non-U.S. citizens, and the following member classifications: Student, Affiliate Company, Technical Assistance Network, and International Superintendent Member), are automatically enrolled into the dues term life insurance group policy. This benefit is at no additional cost to you - GCSAA pays for this benefit. 

Benefits:

• Under Age 65 - $10,000
• 66-69  - $5,000
• 70 and above - $1,000

Two Programs of Voluntary Group Term Life Insurance are available through SRA Benefits:

• Voluntary group term life insurance is available up to $600,000.
• Guaranteed Issue term life insurance is available for members under age 50 up to $100,000 of life insurance coverage REGARDLESS of physical condition or history, provided that all of the eligibility requirements are met AND the application is made within 180 days of the membership effective date.

Disability Income through Marsh:

The GCSAA Disability Income Plan can help provide an alternative source of income while you're disabled. Up to $3,000 a month is available to members under age 65; who are employed in full-time work and have a gross income of at least $20,000 for the past 12 months. The plan provides for a choice of monthly benefit options, waiting period and benefit period according to an individual's needs.

Plan features of the program include:

• Waiver of Premium
• Benefits for Recurring Disability
• Residual Benefit
• Rehabilitation Benefit
• Organ Transplant Benefit
• Survivor Benefit
