GCSAA introduces BMP Planning Guide and Template
A comprehensive national planning guide and template for golf course best management practices is now available at www.gcsaa.org/bmp. The guide covers key areas of nutrient use, drought and water management, and integrated pest management. It is a big step toward GCSAA's initiative to have golf courses in all 50 states adopt science-based agronomic practices that support proactive environmental stewardship by 2020. The BMP program is funded and supported by the USGA through the EIFG.
GCSAA investigating a political action committee
GCSAA is exploring the launch of a political action committee in 2017. During 2016, government affairs staff presented the concept of a GCSAA PAC to the Government Affairs Committee, GCSAA Board of Directors and chapter delegates, and are now seeking feedback from membership. Before April 15, please watch the GCSAA PAC videos, read the PAC brochure and provide online feedback
