Last year’s unprecedented hurricane season left an indelible mark on many parts of the southern United States, and golf courses in those regions certainly did not escape the devastation. As we head into yet another hurricane season, GCM Senior Staff Writer Terry Ostmeyer spoke with several superintendents whose lives were affected by last year’s storms to mine some of the lessons learned from those experiences. Also, the GCM staff looks back at the 2006 GCSAA Education Conference and Golf Industry Show.
