Lawrence, Kan. (April 7, 2026) – The Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established by the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), has generously donated $10,000 to the GCSAA Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) to support the Col. John Morley Centennial Campaign.

GCSAA will turn 100 on Sept. 13, 2026, and it has embarked on a Centennial fundraising campaign to establish a new endowment honoring GCSAA’s founder, Col. John Morley, with a goal of raising $1 million to fund new and innovative initiatives for the next 100 years.

The CMAA is supporting the Centennial Campaign at the Heritage Partner Level, which recognizes donations of $5,000 or more. With this donation, CMAA gains membership in the Foundation’s Platinum Tee Club, which recognizes organizations that donate $5,000 or more annually to the GCSAA Foundation. It is also recognized at the Governors Club level in the Foundation’s Cumulative Giving Program for donors that have contributed between $50,000 and $99,999 since 1987.

“With CMAA just a year younger than GCSAA, we have shared much common ground and collaboration in the last century,” said GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. “Thank you to CMAA for their gift to our Centennial Campaign, and we know we’ll do great things together in the next century and beyond.”

Founded in 1927, CMAA is the largest professional association for club management professionals with more than 8,700 members throughout the US and internationally. The Club Foundation was created in 1988 as the only 501(c)3 organization focused solely on the club industry.

“Our two associations are bound by a shared history and purpose — founded within a year of one another and walking through the past century, side by side, in support of those we serve,” Jeff Morgan, FASAE, CAE, CMAA and The Club Foundation, said. “We celebrate this extraordinary milestone and commend GCSAA for 100 years of leadership, service and meaningful support for its members.”
