Equipment Washing Systems and Solutions

Equipment washing is a necessary task of golf course maintenance. Yet, excessive use of potable water is not sustainable. This online course, narrated by Kathy Antaya, CGCS, includes a review of golf course equipment washing rules and regulations, methods and systems. An emphasis is placed on practical solutions that reduce water use and protect water quality. Real-life examples from working superintendents are analyzed, and the pros and cons of the approaches for various budgets are discussed. This short course will supply ideas you can implement right away to improve your equipment washing area, as well as project plans for bigger changes when warranted. Resources include templates you can customize for your operation.

Audio is a key component of this course. You’ll need to make sure the computer you use has a sound card and speakers. You can use built-in controls to rewind and listen to narration again. You can repeat sections of the course or work through one portion at a time as your schedule allows. You will need to complete one online exam at the conclusion of the course to earn your education points.
