Go Green for Groundwater

Heather Voorman

Groundwater is the water we drink, the water that grows our food, and the water that helps keep golf courses green. It's also in need of your help! In this 60-minute webcast, Heather Voorman, program manager and community outreach specialist for The Groundwater Foundation in Lincoln, Neb., will talk about what groundwater is and why it's important. Voorman will also discuss groundwater-friendly practices that you can implement on your course to help protect and conserve water resources. You'll also learn about the Groundwater Guardian Green Site program, which recognizes courses just like yours for groundwater and environmental stewardship.
