For more information on the 2008 tournament, visit Lending a helping hand Members of the Kansas GCSA will be traveling to Greensburg, Kan., later this month to assist the nine-hole golf course in that community, Cannonball Golf Course, as it attempts to bounce back from the devastating tornado that wiped out the town earlier this year, and GCM is going along with them. You can read live reports about this example of the golf course management industry “giving back” by visiting When disaster strikes If your course’s maintenance facility houses materials that could pose a risk to the environment if a disaster were to occur, a GCSAA webcast is here to help. Pat Gross of the USGA Green Section presents information in an On Demand webcast on how to manage an emergency, minimize potential impact to the environment and implement an emergency action plan.
