Chapter room block deadline July 18
Choose a hotel in New Orleans for your chapter members in advance of housing registration opening on August 1. Securing a chapter room block is easy and there’s no attrition risk. The deadline for requesting a chapter room block is July 18.

There are several benefits to reserving a chapter room block:

  • Chapter members are guaranteed to be together at the same hotel
  • Networking opportunities during breakfast and evening cocktail and dinner hours
  • Hotel reservations are protected by professional travel consultants at Golf Industry Travel
  • Your chapter could host evening functions at the same hotel as your chapter room block

For more information contact Judy Schelar at 800-472-7878, Ext. 4459, or visit here.

The 2008 Chapter Delegates Meeting will be held on Oct. 24-26 in New Orleans. An invitation will be emailed to chapter officers, delegates and executives in mid-July. Registrations are due Aug. 25.

  Membership directories coming soon
The 2008 GCSAA Membership Directory will be mailed soon. All Class A, AA, ART, SM & SMRT members should start watching for this popular member benefit in the mail next week. All other members should call the Member Solutions Department at 1-800-472-7878 to request a directory. The delivery date for this year was delayed because of the conversion of data to a new database. Also, this early summer delivery date allows us the ability to provide more updated information, including membership milestones, governance documents and membership applications. We appreciate everyone’s patience through this process. Questions regarding the membership directory should be directed to Scott Woodhead, GCSAA sr. mgr of governance/member standards at 800-472-7878, ext. 4418.
