Chapter Relations Committee continues its multi-year look at future relationship with chapters
The Chapter Relations Committee met May 5-6 to continue the work it began in 2007. The committee has been charged to explore GCSAA’s relationship with the affiliated chapters and how GCSAA might help chapters effectively serve their members.
The committee:
- Received an update on GCSAA’s outreach efforts with chapters in 2007; including field staff updates and information regarding the new Florida regional representative position
- Recommended that GCSAA work with chapters to help them secure paid leadership
- Received an update from the Nebraska GCSA board of directors. Discussed the NGCSA’s successes and challenges and offered continued support.
