Cale Bigelow, Ph.D.

Cale Bigelow, Ph.D., is an associate professor of Agronomy-Turfgrass Science at Purdue University. He holds degrees from Virginia Tech and North Carolina State University. He is actively involved in undergraduate instruction and his applied research interests include sustainable and reduced input turfgrass systems, evaluation of turf species and cultivar selection for golf courses, putting green management and soil and turfgrass nutritional issues. Bigelow has lectured on turfgrass management in Japan, Norway and the Czech Republic and has been a GCSAA faculty member since 2004.
