Step 1. Goal Setting

In this step, you'll identify the objectives of your IPM plan

This first step in the process encourages you to identify the goals you hope to achieve by creating your IPM plan. For instance, your goals may range from the reduction of organic matter to replacing the use of a specific pesticide product with cultural practices.

The Goal Setting Form includes three primary goal categories:

  • Agronomic
  • Environmental
  • Budgetary

You may want to start with three to five goals for each of the primary categories, but you can also customize your goals on the form as well.
