Agricultural science and technology company continues to grow support to join top tier of GCSAA partners

Lawrence, Kan. (Jan. 16, 2024) – Syngenta, a provider of agricultural science and technology, advances its support of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and its members through participation in the association’s Partner Recognition Program. Syngenta becomes one of just three companies to invest resources at the program’s Platinum Partner level after previously investing as a Gold Partner since the inception of the program.

“On behalf of all GCSAA members, thank you to Syngenta for investing in our members,” said GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. “They have been longtime supporters of GCSAA education, including enabling us to provide webinars to our members for free and partnering for key GCSAA Conference and Trade Show events like the Welcome Reception, Sunrise Celebration, Ladies Leading Turf and Career Achievement Luncheon. Their move up to a Platinum Partner will not only help our members succeed but will also be beneficial to the entire game of golf. ”

In addition to their sponsorship of education webinars and GCSAA Conference and Trade Show events, Syngenta also partners with GCSAA on the GCSAA/Golf Digest Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards, which recognize superintendents and golf courses for their commitment to environmental stewardship. Syngenta is a member of the GCSAA Foundation Platinum Tee Club, which recognizes organizations that donate $5,000 or more annually. Syngenta is also recognized at the Victory Club level in the Foundation’s Cumulative Giving Program for donors that have contributed more than $1million since 1987.

“I’ve always been so proud of Syngenta’s unwavering support of the GCSAA and turf professionals to propel them and the golf industry forward. Our 23-year partnership with  GCSAA as a Gold-Level Partner has been a testament to this commitment,” said Stephanie Schwenke, turf market manager for Syngenta. “Today I am thrilled to announce that we are elevating our support to the Platinum Level. This is more than an investment, it’s an exciting step towards further nurturing the very heart of our industry and its people, forging a path for sustainable and vibrant future.”

GCSAA’s Partner Recognition Program provides year-round exposure based on a prescribed level of investment. GCSAA industry partners can choose from Platinum, Gold or Silver levels as a means to achieve marketing objectives. Each level provides partners with unique communications and recognition options to position themselves in the marketplace. Vehicles in the program include the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show, GCM magazine, media communications, social media and GCSAA.org. Additional opportunities for exposure within GCSAA membership, committees, chapters, career services and others exist as well.

The program offers industry partners strategic, diverse and ongoing communication with members. The association’s primary communications vehicles are the most read in the industry and are considered the cornerstone of marketing activities by the industry. Additional program features desired by companies in their marketing mix are maximizing year-round visibility, securing proprietary options, and engaging in philanthropy in a strategic manner by supporting the GCSAA Foundation.
