Inside GCM

For March

  • In "A wrong kind of diversity?" Ed Hiscock, GCM editor in chief, examines the issue of diversity in the golf course management industry, and GCSAA's efforts to promote diversity.
  • "GCSAA honors certified superintendents" highlights the active Certified Golf Course Superintendents who have retained their certification for more than 15 years. Among them is Garry Crothers, CGCS at Montague Golf Club Randolph, Vt., who was certified in 1972. He's the first CGCS to complete seven five-year renewals. The certification program began in September of 1971.
  • "Inside your game" is a report by Seth Jones on the panel discussion by multi-course companies held last month in Orlando.
