Certification Committee reviews current Code of Standards

During its recent meeting at GCSAA Headquarters in Lawrence, Kan., the GCSAA Certification Committee made two recommendations for changes to the Certification Code of Standards: (1) To strongly encourage potential certification applicants to create a Developmental Action Plan, rather than making it a requirement to apply to the program, and (2) To require all “CGCS Retired” individuals to maintain their membership in GCSAA in order to continue to use the CGCS Retired designation. These recommendations will be submitted to the board for approval.
