GCSAA has been on the road this past year, actively engaging with GCSAA chapter members across the country.
Chava McKeel, GCSAA government affairs director, has been talking with chapter members about the hot issues impacting the golf industry with a special focus on the EPA’s compliance with their Endangered Species Act obligations. McKeel spoke to Arkansas GCSA, Iowa GCSA, Oklahoma GCSA, Nebraska GCSA, Hawaii GCSA, Oregon GCSA and Utah GCSA. Upcoming chapter visits include the Georgia GCSA and Rocky Mountain GCSA.
Michael Lee, senior manager, government affairs, spoke to the South Texas GCSAA earlier this year and will be talking to the Inland Empire GCSA and the Heart of America GCSA later this month.
Bob Helland, director, congressional and federal affairs, attended the CropLife America & RISE Joint Annual Meeting in September. He connected with colleagues and industry leaders from the specialty pesticide and fertilizer industry who work on these issues together.
Please contact GCSAA if your chapter members need a government affairs update..
