Looking to support a talented team member’s goal of pursuing their formal education? Check out these GCSAA scholarships aimed at nontraditional students.

Alan J. MacCurrach Jr. Award

The Allan MacCurrach Jr. Award, funded by Allan MacCurrach III and the PGA Tour, recognizes an outstanding non-traditional student seeking a career in the field of golf course and turfgrass management. The scholarship is $10,000, and the winner also receives an expenses-paid trip to the annual GCSAA Conference and Trade Show. Learn more about the MacCurrach Award.

Larry Powell Scholarship

The Larry Powell Scholarship benefits GCSAA members, or those interested in becoming a member, who represent underserved populations. Scholarship preference will be given to needs-based applicants with consideration for demonstrated leadership skills and community engagement. The purpose of this scholarship is to help fund and ensure talented underrepresented demographic golf course management individuals achieve their dream of pursuing or furthering their careers.
