Lawrence, Kan. (July 29, 2025) – The Palm Beach Golf Course Superintendents Association has again generously donated $7,500 to the GCSAA Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). The gift will be divided evenly to support the Foundation’s annual fund, the First Green STEAM education program and Rounds 4 Research.

“Palm Beach GCSA has been an avid supporter of the Foundation for many years, and we thank them for their generosity,” said GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. “By showing their commitment to programs like First Green and Rounds 4 Research, they are helping to ensure the future of the industry and the game of golf.”

Palm Beach GCSA remains in the Governor’s Club giving level of the GCSAA Foundation’s Cumulative Giving Program. The Governor’s Club recognizes donors who have given between $50,000 and $99,999 since 1987. The chapter also remains in the GCSAA Foundation’s Platinum Tee Club, which recognizes organizations that give $5,000 annually to the GCSAA Foundation.

The Palm Beach GCSA is proud to continue supporting the GCSAA and its research, education, and industry advocacy initiatives,” Palm Beach GCSA President Jeffrey Klontz II said. “We would like to take this moment to recognize our over 300 members, without them, this would not be possible.”

The Palm Beach GCSA was founded in 1978 and is one of 94 GCSAA-affiliated chapters in North America.
