Bob Helland, director of congressional and federal affairs, worked with the offices of Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS) Rep. Tracey Mann (R-Kan.) to introduce these resolutions and secure additional support from five senators and 10 representatives, including Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) and Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), and Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) and Rep. Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), who are co-chairmen of the Congressional Golf Caucus.
This strong, bipartisan showing of support is a recognition of all that GCSAA has accomplished on behalf of our members over the last 100 years. You can find copies of these resolutions at Congress.gov.
Helland will work with both offices to secure final passage of these resolutions, including remarks on the Senate and House floor. In addition, Sens. Moran and Marshall and Rep. Mann will be invited to join our centennial celebration at GCSAA headquarters in October.
