The Advance Leadership Program, presented in partnership with Jacobsen Ltd., provides provides opportunities for golf course superintendents with less than five years of superintendent experience to become successful leaders in an ever-changing industry.
The program combines virtual learning with in-person experiences at GCSAA headquarters in Fall 2026 and the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in New Orleans in January 2027.
Participants engage in educational sessions, resources and expertise to develop the next generation of leaders. The program combines practical management training, mentorship, and industry expertise to cultivate leaders who are prepared to excel at course operations and contribute to the long-term sustainability and advancement of the game and industry.
GCSAA Class B member
Superintendent with less than five years experience as a full-time superintendent
A nominator (manager, supervisor, mentor, club manager, trade representative, etc.) willing to write a letter of support
Application submitted by June 1
Submit application with demographic, education, and employment information.
Complete short answers related to professional development, career aspirations, and personal growth.
Include nomination letter from your manager, supervisor, mentor, club manager, trade representative, etc.
