Otter Creek Golf Course
Columbus, Ind.
Otter Creek Golf Course is an historic 1964 Robert Trent Jones golf course. It is beautiful but had been neglected by the city for years. We became the new stewards in 2022. We were blessed to discover that with the purchase came an amazing grounds crew. This crew was led by Brent Downs and Mitchell Eickhoff. We immediately moved Brent into our DOA role and elevated Mitch into the Head Superintendent role. Since then, we have worked with Tom Kite and Billy Fuller to redesign the Otter Creek course and have started the renovation. Mitch has grown and met every challenge with passion and confidence. He is always present and engaged, committed to detail and follow through, develops and gets the most out of his team, and possesses a wonderful demeanor and spirit. I could not be more pleased and grateful knowing Mitch Eickhoff is watching over Otter Creek Golf Course!

Harrison Lake Country Club is grateful to have Cory Troyer as our head superintendent. Cory has been with us through our full-course renovation and now through our third full year since the renovation. The renovation and the grow-in have been challenging, especially this year with the difficult weather conditions we experienced all summer. Cory has worked closely with our DOG, Brent Downs to lead his team, including Broc Schneider, associate superintendent, and Travis Fredrickson, assistant superintendent, to make sure our golf course remained one of the best-maintained courses in the state. Our members have been amazed and pleased with Cory and his team. And, as the owner, I want everyone to know how fantastic our agronomy team is!

Doug, many thanks for all the work you and your team does to keep Bonair our little gem in southern York County. The conditions are top-notch and present an ongoing challenge, which is terrific. I never get tired of playing the course, which is largely a compliment to your efforts. THANK YOU!!! Now let’s talk about having the hybrid tee on 15 occasionally on the forward box...

With 63 holes- our four private courses in our 55+ community of 3500 homes here on the Nature Coast on the Gulf of Mexico are pristine year-round. Add to this the responsibility for 100's of acres of common grounds being immaculate- we salute SCOTT CORWIN- a true magician of the art.

Can’t express the gratitude for keeping our courses in such great shape. Outstanding job by you and your staff. We are so fortunate to have you as our superintendent. Thanks.

I don’t play golf, but am the mom to two sons who play high school/college golf. My college son plays for the NCAA Division II National Champions University of West FL - and his teammates travel here every opportunity they get because they say these courses here at Lakewood National are ALWAYS in the best shape of anywhere in the world!! We are so fortunate to have Joel. He is so passionate and dedicated to his profession!! He IS the reason this Club is one of the top golf destinations in SW FL - and the fact he’s so warm and always has a smile on his face when you see him, makes him the most treasured asset we have. Thank you Joel for being so much more than an amazing Superintendent …you are truly Family!!
Deanne Burbee
Joel, your work on our wonderful golf courses is simply amazing. It’s what we all wish and hope for is 36 holes of prime golf courses in the very best condition possible. Thanks to you and your team. Keep up the great job.
Jeffrey Kridel
Joel has done a fantastic job on both of our courses, especially after some flooding last year.

Joel is one of finest superintendents in the State of Florida. Our two courses are the best around thanks to Joel.

Thanks Billy and your staff for the wonderful job you do to keep our club in great shape. A little shorter rough (ha) would be nice, but I know you have to keep it a challenge for all those flat belly long hitters on the Korn Ferry.

Within the immaculate maintenance facility, just outside Mickey's office is a message board. Above it states "The golf course is a mirror, it is a reflection of our work". Well the view in the mirror is a fabulously maintained and manicured golf course that is a joy to view and play. Congratulations to you and your team!

Our weather has been challenging in so many ways: too wet, too hot, too dry, too humid; yet the course has been in near-perfect conditions despite Mother Nature's behavior. Our grounds crew works their collective tail off to keep our 27 holes in wonderful shape.

Nate is the best! Our course is consistently among the finest in the area, and with a major overhaul on the horizon, he hasn’t slowed down one bit. Not only does he ensure we have the best possible course to play right now, but he has also provided invaluable insights into shaping the vision of what we want the course to be in the future.

James is one of the best out there! I’m continually impressed with the quality of golf and the attention to detail during my visits to The Athens Country Club. Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you, he knows how to set that course up to be an absolute beast!

"Pooster". You are the best of the best. Thank you for everything you do for us.
Destry Rogers
Thanks to "Pooster" James Drinkard for keeping our courses in the best shape possible, and for making golf easier, by us never having to worry about a bad lie in the fairway, with only bad lies in the rough, where it's our own damn fault.

Superintendents throughout Arizona have been extraordinary ambassadors and educators for the full suite of regulators and elected officials we must engage in order to preserve the industry's access to water, and their work has laid an incredible foundation for the Arizona Alliance for Golf. Thanks to the superintendents, we can tell an amazing story of leadership and innovation as it relates to golf course water use. I've been fortunate to spend countless hours with superintendents from all over the state, all who are extraordinarily gracious with their knowledge and time. We've been fortunate to have superintendents chair the Arizona Alliance for Golf Water Committee and our current chairman, Rob Collins, has been an exceptional spokesperson, advocate, mentor, and teacher for the past many years. It's because of agronomy experts like Rob and his colleagues all over the state that we have such a great story to tell -- my thanks to each and every super in Arizona!
