Nothing like a good blowout on a green, a Member calling me an effing amateur in changing cups(4 times and as I am waist deep in a hole), and a classic Caddyshack moment in the pool. Doodie. All in all another good Friday!

Hope yours was as good as mine.

You have to just take a deep breath and smile in this business sometimes. "That is just the way it is at Bushwood CC on August 3rd, 2012" I had a mentor tell me that in 1980 and I have used it ever since.

How do you fix 14"? I put 100' in one time leaving the pumphouse but never had to repair it. Saddle clamp from hell or what? Kenneth Ingram, UMD

MJ sleeves and megalugs. Piece of cake Monday through Thursday.

Friday - Sunday on the other hand.....that would suck.

Like Andy said HUGE mega lugs and about 10 yards of concrete that's how you fix a 14"mainline lol. It happened Saturday morning on labor day weekend so we had to wait until Tuesday and it was repaired by Thursday and turned on Friday afternoon with 100+ degree days what a year I have had A total of 62 days with out irrigation due to other issues on a 45 year old system.
