Need your advise here regarding course washrooms Cancel The title field is required!

   If you were to build a new course washroom...cost is not an issue...would you build in a urinal and a toilet or just a toilet...thinking about ease of cleaning etc...

   Put in both, it's faster; foursome - two can go at the same time, two sinks also. Tile floor and walls, drain in floor, water-proof electrical, easy winterize if you're in the north. Auto exhaust fan, auto lights, small boiler for hot water, check out http://daystarskylightsystem.com/ for light, truly amazing.

   We built a new restroom on the course and eliminated the urinal. The only one to bring it up was one of the ladies.... go figure.
   
   That being said, I would have liked to put both back in. Sadly, budget won out and we did not.

   I'm not sure of your situation but do you anticipate any vandalism potential? If you do you have a lot of things to consider.
   
   My next restroom is going to be a hong nam with recessed jets that are controlled from a computer so that none of my employees need to go near the restroom to clean it up. You'd be surprised what some people do with fecal matter for entertainment.

   I rebuilt one on our course about 7 years ago. It had two separate small toilet rooms but the walls were rotted out and had to be removed (the building was brick). I simply enclosed the main entrance with a coded key lock on the door and installed a urinal and a toilet with a partician made out of vynle fence. Two people can use it at one time and I also installed a deadbolt so if a ladie used it she could lock it. All of my members loved the new design and complimented me over the rebuild.
