Thats a good price. I just paid $199 for mine. They work incredibly well in low light which works great for me as i dont really like firing off scare rounds at 5:00 am. We are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the geese this year and it seems to be working as we ussually have about 10 nesting pairs and this year so far just 1 persistant nesting pair i chase off with the laser every morning.

I purchased one for twenty five bucks that is no bigger than a pen and it does the job well. Been using it for two years now and have had to replace the batteries twice (two triple A's). Seems to work best at dawn for us.
