   I'm trying to imagine past Presidents begging for campaign cash. Let's see....
   
   How about Dubbya?: "Join me and Dick on a pig shoot. Just click on 25 bucks and you'll have a chance to win. Bring your own rifle."
   
   Clinton: "If you donate money now you'll have a chance to join me and the intern of your choce for ....."
   
   Lincoln: "To the person who donates the most money, I've got tickets to join me and the Mrs. at a show......" Sorry, poor taste on my part.

   My response is, wouldn't this be just like all the campaign dinners that all candidates have?
   
   The sad thing is here is someone spending a ton of money to have dinner with the president, that's any president, when the president would be better served sitting down to have dinner with those that couldn't afford to pay to have dinner with the president and have to struggle to put dinner on the table, maybe all politicians should do that. Of course the food wouldn't be as good as what the lobbyist are feeding them.
   
   Of course the amounts of money that go to all campaign are obscene, why not do something productive with that money, I always wonder do those that make political donations see a return on their investment?

    But I'm not sure just what flavor Kool-Aid that is Keith is referring to. Obama put the video out himself. Every word I wrote about it was from my own original thoughts, so just what Kool-Aid would that be?

    I understand there are $25,000 a plate dinners, like it or not. They all do it.
    
    But I really could not think of one other past President who had done anything remotely close to Obama offering a dinner with him and his Vice-President, in return for campaign donations, at least the way he's doing it. Could be a brilliant move on his part. Whaddya' suppose that a guy who donates 5 bucks isn't going to win?
    
    So, I guess that because I could not think of another Presiedent, who would stoop, in my opinion, to the level Obama has....I guess I'm drinking someon's Koll-Aid.

    I think in the last quarter he raised $86 million comparied to a total of around $40 million for all the Republican candidates combined. I guess it must be all THOSE RICH DEMOCRATES sending in those donations for some future political favors. I though it was the left that harped so much on campaign spending...........ah that's right just when they are not in office. Rumor has it and it may be closer to reality than rumor that he will be the first candidate to raise $ 1 billion.................hmmmmmmmmmm they will be some gravy owed to a lot of folks to pay back a billion bucks.
    
    Hey an idea to settle the debit crisis.........he could promise the Republicans he will chip in the leftover funds to pay off the debit..............sure it won't take a billion dollars to beat a bunch of nobodys next fall.

He (the president) has finally come to his senses.....asking logical thinking,hard working guys like you and I Pete to give him some good advice. What's the dress code? If Michelle is coming sure it's casual.
