It appears Axelrod and Obama live by double standard.

The entire Democrat Party lives by a double standard! Free speech is only ok if they have it and everyone else is muzzled. They are the ones who have had an ongoing war on conservative women yet they accuse the Republicans because of personal comments from Santorum and Limbaugh. No apology is ever accepted by the left yet is is ok to say vile things and know that the entire left has their back. I know stupid things are said on both sides but is only the liberal side that tries to get people fired, taken off the air or disgraced for life. Heaven forbid anyone bothers with their own free speech!

MAN, That Greta Van Sustern has a jaw on her.
Reminds me of a Rock Em' Sock Em' Robot.

Double standards abound -- absolutely for sure. Obama guilty of that? Heck yes. But nothing new in the world of politics, eh?...like as far back as there have BEEN politics? The outrage here is a little staged.
As far as Rush saying something stupid, who cares? It's Rush.. It's entertainment. It's like when people used to get mad at Howard Stern. Ridiculous.

Someone mentioned in another thread that a lot of this stuff seems like goofy hurdles that are being laid for the repubs to trip over -- something to take their eye off the ball. This seems like another "mis-direction" play the DNC have planted to get the right squabbling over non-important baloney.
It doesn't even seem that thinly veiled either. Surprised they're biting so hard on it and not letting go. they should just let go and get on with their own buisness - namely, picking a cnadidate.

But I know we can all agree on one thing, and that's that Sarah Palin IS a C-word, and a stupid c-word at that.
Take away her hot-mom looks and you've got a gigantic zero. A know-nothing
Search your feelings, Luke. You know it's true.

And it's okay if it's true. We can't all make sense or be smart all the time. Life would be boring as hell if that were the case. So predictable and routine. We need idiots around. They give the rest of us something to talk about.
So more power to that crazy c-word woman out in Alaska. It's been one heck of a car wreck to watch the last several years. She's good fun.

You and a lot of other people may know its not that big of deal in the grand scheme of things, but the Rush deal is a big deal in the media-scheme of things. And the media carries most of the weight, of those that count. The media fills the airwaves which most people gravitate. As such, it becomes a vortex that the republicans and democrats must allow themselves to be sucked into otherwise the media is left to its own devises, whether they (the media) get it right of wrong. So the republicans must counter punch with Bill Maher to defend their honor. Rush has dominated the airwaves, and in my opinion, he deserved the lashing. But so does the democrats for giving their boy Maher a pass.

As for Sarah Palin, although I don't have much good to say about the women, I'm not in the group that believes her be the "C"-word. It's ok for any John-Q-public to think of her as such, but it's not ok for Bill Maher to air her as such. I know Maher and Rush have their schtick, but the fact is they each represent their respective parties as a whole. You and I don't.

So far it's kind of an exclusive club. Just me and Clay, so far. Clay and I will have to vote each other President and Vice-President, and it would have to be unanimous. Then we have to meet. Then we'd have to vote on Membership requirements. Most importantly, we'll need a Treasurer.

Could become the "C-Word" Super PAC, or maybe the Super "C-Word PAC." Not sure yet.

    Pete and Clay,

I was honored to receive your personal emails today. I hereby accept the position of Treasurer. Will you two require financial reports every five years or every two? I prefer five, as that will give us a longer track record regarding our financial situation. Plus, every two years is kind of a hassle. I'll be moving money through many accounts around the world, and it takes time to figure out which "book" I should be showing you. One banker said he could show me how to "cook them". That's exciting.......I've always wanted to take a cooking class. My omelets usually fall apart.

We have one self-nomination for Treasurer. He still has my credit card, so heck, I may as well do it myself.

I don't think that anyone from Stockton should be handling money, and I actually can cook......so I humbly accept the Treasurer position. Jeff, just send me the credit card so I can get started.

Pete, you can be President. I'm better at the less important stuff and I can say stupid things easy, so I should be the VP. Not to mention I can see my neighbors "from my back yard". One last thing, I refuse to wear lipstick and get all dolled up for the cameras - I'm a naturalist, whatever that means.

Jeff and Keith, keep in mind this is some sort of alphabet club. Pete happen to choose the letter "C". Personally I would have chosen a different letter, but that's a discussion for another time. Where was I? - oh yeah, Jeff and Keith, the first of you that can send me beer who's name begins with each letter of the alphabet gets my vote for the treasury spot. So each of you have to send me an "A" Beer, a "B" Beer and so on. I'll be waiting and I have two stop watches, one for Keith and one for Jeff. One your mark,,,,, get set,,,,, GO!

Yeah....uh.....that could be a problem. I had to leave it with the Lamborghini dealership yesterday for my "test drive". I'm already 1200 miles away and counting. MAN.....these new Aventadors are FAST! Luckily, Pete also dropped his gas card.

Without the credit card I had to improvise. Now is it 1 hour per pound at 350°?

Ask the kid. I'm betting he'll tell you 1 second per pound at 75°.
